Provisional Psychologist (BPsyc (Hons)), Assoc. MAPS
I completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at the University of Newcastle in 2020. I have recently commenced an internship pathway towards general registration as a psychologist. My early career interests include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, workplace/education related issues and stress management.
I will draw on a number of evidence-based frameworks during my practice, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), schema therapy, psychoeducation and mindfulness techniques. I am also learning to provide psychological testing and assessments.
I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, compassionate and respectful for all. I am also committed to supporting individuals and families to reach their goals and helping them to live fuller and more meaningful lives.
